Too much to do!

No one tells you that when you make a decision about renovating then the work really starts!
Feeling a bit overwhelmed by it all at the moment talking to builder, bank, council etc etc and also trying to organise knocking down garage which means cleaning it out and organising storage etc etc. Plus we have to pack up and store or move into into the rest of the house all the things we currently have in the back room and laundry. Plus I should really be looking for work for the mondays I now have free. Plus just keep the normal household things like shopping, cooking and cleaning happening!!! Argh.
Well now that's off my chest . Finn started Preschool and was fine, cried a bit when I left the first day but raved about it non stop when I picked him up. 2nd time he was fine and loved it again. Callum and Scully back at school this week. Callum yr 4 with Mrs Gough and Scully yr 2 with Mr P (name too hard to type), Both happy and settling in ok. If you read this Josh - how is your first teaching job going? hope it's ok.
Due to the start of my rant don't be surprised if there's not much new here for awhile - will try and post interesting photos as demolition etc progresses. Ross mentioned to his BStudy about demo of garage and all blokes wanted to help!! Men and knocking things down!

A new year.

Well it's been ages so here are the highlights of our christmas - holiday period.
We had a great time camping with our friends in Pambula. Very relaxing and great spot. So nice to see them for longer than one day etc.
Christmas at home was great and we really enjoyed having Ross' family come to us.
Caught up with my family and others (like Kate and Graeme) which was fab. So nice to see friends and it be like we only saw them last week.
Finalised the reno plan and put plans into council so now waiting to get them back and we can start!! Adding a bigger back room, deck, new laundry, main bedroom and ensuite. My joke this holiday is that 'ensuite' is a french word for girls bathroom!
Went to Walking with Dinosaurs live experience last Sat which was magnificent and Scully thought he was in heaven! Was a really lovely family experience together and a quailty performance etc. Good seats helped - luck of the draw getting them.
Boys are in the 2nd week of swimming lessons (reminder really as they can both swim) and that is making the holidays fly! with getting new shoes etc, seeing Happy Feet, catching up with friends etc the last 2 weeks are flying by.
Ross back at work this week and it's strange not having him around, nice too realise you do still like spending time together, well I do anyway - he may be at work glad to be away from us!
Finn off to preschool next monday which I'm not looking forward to. Glad he's going just not looking forward to all the tears etc till he gets used to it and realises it's a great place to be.
Callum and scully both enjoying spending their christmas money etc. since we'd just read 2nd Harry potter Callum bought the dvd the other day. Not too bad but my imagination creates much worse monsters etc - bigger spiders, more scarey snakes. Fighting the urge to read on! Will go once back into the busyness of life etc.
If anyone knows of a days work in Penrith region I could do on a monday please let me know. (school hours etc ) would like to get something once Finn at preschool but will have to see!
Lizards found a way out of the locked cage - wiggled against door near latch till it opened then squeezed out. New latch has stopped that but coming home to find a lizard on the computer chair is a little off putting. Dog growing all the time and shedding hair at an alarming rate. We have dog hair tumble weeds in back room 2 days after I vacuum - roll on April when he goes back!! just kidding is lovely to have him and boys will miss him but won't miss dog hair.
