Back to work!

Well today was my first day back at work since June 1997!
I have done some individual day type jobs since then but this is first time is a 'real' job.
Only Casual and part-time - wed and thurs 8.30am - 12.50pm. As a teachers aide at school but is something and has the right hours for now!
Was Ok. Feel it will be great when I'm not the new kid on the block and can just go ahead and do it. Helping kids as individuals and small group with writing etc and also in Maths.
Boys are currently going through their showbags - no we didnt go to the show but Ross had to go and look at something for work and so got them one each - Finn thinks he should have it all! Oh why is there a youngest child!
How are you going Kate. Couldn't believe it when you said you were 30 weeks! Feels like that has flown for me at least. Looking forward to seeing bigger belly photos soon - also make sure that when you know the baby is arriving make sure you take a photo of the biggest you will be - you will forget - there is time between contractions early on and/or before a casear (Can't spell it right now and not going looking)!!

Told you it would stimulate comments.

Thankyou all for your comments. Was as I thought but didnt realise that Wii would be so much more popular. Will now be able to concentrate on getting best deal on a Wii. Will have to see what Ross thinks about it too!!!

Which is better?

So since I know most of you who read my blog have one or both or these, Which is better?
Wii or PS2.
Am thinking that for Christmas we might give the boys a combined present of one of these. So let me know why you think one is better than the other or what each is best at. Can give your opinion of PS3 if want or xbox etc but thinking between the first 2 for me.
Let the comments begin!

Phew! I finished the knitting!

Just to let those of you waiting for the wool etc I have finished - can't say it looks good but it is done!
Am handing it onto Claire Ward today with my money etc so the weight is off my shoulders.
There is no way I'm posting a photo of it - let that be a surprise for Kate - and that way I can pretend Sue's beautiful row is actually mine!
Life continues as normal. Looking forward to the Easter break though we will be doing a day trip to Umina and maybe one to Dad's! May not be as relaxing as I'd hoped but only 3weeks to holidays after Easter. Yay.

It can't have been that long!

I knew it was a while since I posted but Jan!!!

That's what not having a house ext to talk about does.

We finished of last bit of the garden stuff we had to do on weekend - decided to turf near the deck so that it would be done because if we waited till we could afford pavers to do the chess board etc and them actually did it we would be living with mud for years!!! So now have some plants in near the deck and grass. - photos from my phone. Also show bit of expensive concrete that goes under steps up to gate.

Have been busy with normal stuff. Boys back into school etc. Have been told I can work at school as an aide for the two mornings Finn in Preschool - which is great but though it will start this term not sure exactly when yet - so all days off are special now.

Getting excited about my birthday party - 7th June. 60's theme. Any Stubbings in OZ invited of course.

Feeling the pressure of not stuffing up blanket for Kate - being compared to the seasoned knitters - when you look at it please remember I havent knitted since Uni and it's a labour of love! Think if it's really bad Kate can always put it aside and knit my row again.

Finn went to speech therapy today for the first time - just to get some help with him saying some letters properly - just want to get it sorted before school next year. This week it's S, C and R.

Callum starts soccer training this week and cant believe it's almost my nephews 21st bday - the last one of my sisters kids to turn 21. Sorry it's been so long but had no fun news and out of the habit after hols - will try to do better!
