Soccer season starts again!

No movement on the house front yet but life goes on and soccer has started again. Callum is in div 5 with same coach from last year and sone of least years team plus half another team that joined us plus a couple of others etc. Playing on a full size field this year. They won their first match 2 - 0. Played at Colo on a hot saturday morning.
Daylight saving has finished and for the first time I'm actually glad! Mainly because I get up to was the dog at 6am and for the last few weeks it's only been getting light as I'm getting back home! It's beautiful now the sun is up at 6 with me! The Dog is only with us for another month and only have to walk him early for another 2weeks till holidays start so next year will probably miss daylight saving more!
The panthers walloped bulldogs the other night! YAY even more satisfying when it's them! (don't think you need to know what's going on to tip Kate - I just go on gut feeling!!)
My team came 2nd at the trivia night which was great fun (thanks J & J for babysitting - love the save the date card) Ross was off being a political animal at the after election party - labour in again. Would be estatic if federal just glad don't have to worry about Ross's job since State level.
So you can see life is still full just not full of extensions.
Looking forward to holidays and having a night away from kids etc for our anniversary! 15yrs.

The Shed!

Just to keep you uptodate!

The shed went up to day. Ross still at work so can't report on his rapturous comments but they are a given I think. Something about blokes and sheds!?? Think the girl equivalent is how we feel about chocolate - that makes complete sense to me!!

The photo is from my phone so not great - sorry. Have left hints with Ross' family that they could combine to give him a digital camera for his birthday but who knows!! (Ross dosen't read this)

Also just in case you are reading this and also a member of Sue's tipping comp. Ha Ha I won the first week - yeah so it was on margins but since I'll probably lose from here on in I have to make the most of it! And why aren't you tipping Kate?

No, they haven't started building yet!

Just a quick update to say that nothing is happening! The building work hasn't started yet but since all the money, forms etc are in progress it shouldn't be long now!!!
Ross did a disc in his back over a week ago and is slowly recovering - we were moving the large sandstone blocks by the back door so we can keep them and use them in our new garden etc. He is recovering slowly and went back to work this week after having last week off.
We have had the slab for the new shed poured so we have a lot of concrete and not much grass in the back yard at the moment, as we haven't removed the old garage slab yet - lucky because, as predicted, the rain has been fairly constant (on and off heavy falls) since we demolished the garage - Am sure we will break the drought by the time extension is finished.
Everything else going as normal. Callum gearing up for soccer, Scully started piano lessons and Finn loving preschool. I'm looking for some anniversary accomodation as my sister can mind the kids, (15yrs) and looking forward to a trivia night at school - Josh and Jackie looking after the kids for us as it's state election night and Ross will be busy! (Thankyou J & J!)
So hopefully will have some building starts photos soon. Till then just assume status quo with us.
